DON't crash!
The Project
What is it?
"Don't Crash" is a public health campaign that is aimed to reduce traffic accidents caused by reckless driving among the teenagers in transilvanian highschools. It is a project supported by the School of Public Health and the Center for Health Policy and Public Health.
WHO WILL DO IT?
You! Who better know what teenagers feel, what they react to, what motivates them, then the teens themselves. So, it is only natural that highschool students should plan and implement the campaign. So if you are in the 11th or 12th grade in highschool and you want to create a safer environment for yourself and those close to you, Don't Crash is your kind of project.
WHY you should do it?
Because most likely you have a friend (or have a friend who has a firend), or know someone who was involved in a traffic accident caused by youth reckless driving (or at least have a friend who has a friend who knows someone who knows someone who was in an accident).
HOW WILL You DO IT?
First, you must know what a public health campaign is. And, of course, you need to know what Public Health means. For that, the School of Public Health prepared a fun and challenging (and free) weekend in Cluj Napoca. a weekend full of trainings that will give you the necessary knowledge to design and implement your own public health campaign within the "Don't Crash" project.
WHEN and where WILL THIS TRAINING BE?
The training will take place at a cabin from the mountain resort of Băişoara, between the 18th and 20th of December. You don't need to worry yourself about getting there, you just have to come to Cluj, we'll take care of the rest. The program and courses are available here.
