DON’T CRASH campaign:
Phase two
GENERAL RULES
Here you have a set of rules to help you eith your campaign. For any onther questions, please contact us at info@publichealth.ro and we will answer you as soon as possible!
- Phase two starts with the 1st of February.
- Each participant will create his own team, recruiting at least two volunteers. These volunteers will receive a certificate of participation,
- Each participant will follow the direction on which he made the campaign design from the training (if at Băişoara you focused on speeding, you will focus on speeding on the campaign in your hometown).
- If you need extra material for your campaign, email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and we will send you whatever you need.
- We will send you a document that states that you are part of this campaign in case you need it to justify yourselves to teachers and collaborators (if, for example, someone won't let you put posters in a high school). However, you need to request this document via an email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
- At the end of the campaign you will need to make a material that shows how you designed and implemented the whole campaign (be that a slideshow, a short clip, use your creativity!). So documenting every step of the campaign is important, wether you do it with a photo camera, video camera or any other way you can think of.
- On every material you create, no matter it's nature, you will have to use the School of Public Health logo. this will be provided along with the materials needed for the training.
- As we stated within the training, one of the most important elements in public health is networking. Exploit it to the max! Even though you are not in the same team anymore, contact your teammates form the training and the other people that were there if you need a second opinion about aspects of your campaign. And don't forget: the mentors are avaiable and willing to answer any of your questions.
- You are free to plan your campaign however you may desire, but you have to implement it starting the 12th of April and it can last up until the 23rd of April
- The presentation session will take place on the 5th of May in Cluj (an exact location will be provided in time).
- Best of Luck!
Tips &Tricks
- We know you 12th-graders have exams during this period, that's why the whole campaign lasts over two months> for you to have time to finish it. But even if you start the whole thing later, make a plan since the fisrt day, don't let everything for the end.
- The materials you need to train your volunteers will be uploaded this week for you to have time to study them. Keep in mind that you need to make these trainings in such a way that everyone from your team undestands them.
- Focus on planning - plan your activities in time using a model, whatever that may be: timeline, gant, perth or another one that you find suitable for you (use google for more information) and set milestones from the beginning in order to periodically check on your progress.
- Don't forget that a good poster or video is worth nothing! Set your target and strategy carefully first! Creativity can follow after that.
- Be a good team manager: be careful who you recruit and with what purpose; Give every member of your team a mai role (the fundraiser, the designer etc); Check their progress periodically to ensure everyone is doing their job;
- Think about the impact that each campaign will have and how you will evaluate it.
