HOW TO APPLY


FORM OF STUDY: full-time


NUMBER OF PLACES: 45 (25 without tuition fee, 20 with tuition fee)


LANGUAGE OF STUDY: English


CALENDAR OF ADMISSION

THE APPLICATION FILE must contain:

1.    Application Form

2.    Proof of competence in English. Any document or test result stating proficiency in English

3.    Birth Certificate (legalized copy)

4.    Baccalaureate Diploma or its equivalent (original)

5.    2 photographs (ID like)

6.    Receipt certifying the admission fee

7.    Medical proof of health (a document stating that you are – clinically healthy- signed and stamped by a physician)

8.    Curriculum vitae (All documents have to be put in a envelope-like folder)

 

CRITERIA OF ADMISSION

ADDITIONAL CRITERIA OF SELECTION

a) average grade of the 4 years of high school

b) grade of the Romanian language exam (written and oral) at the baccalaureate exam

SPECIAL CRITERIA OF ADMISSION

Students with a baccalaureate diploma which obtained first, second or third prize at a national or international competition (in the last two years), recognized by the M.E.C.I, are automatically admitted to our faculty (on the places without tuition fee).

 

REGISTRATION FEES

Admission fee + Data processing fee: Will be announced in time. Please visit the website periodically.

By paying the registration fees, the candidate may apply to all six fields of study of the faculty: Public Administration, Communication and Public Relations, Political Sciences, Journalism, Advertising, Public Health – Services and Policy.

The fees are to be paid at the Pay Office of the Faculty of Political, Administrative and Communication Sciences (71, Gen. Traian Moşoiu Street, Cluj-Napoca), between 12th -23th of July, 2010.

 

RESULTS

The results of the admission contest for July 2010 session will be published at the notice board of the faculty and on the Internet (www.publichealth.ro), on the 25th of July, 2010.

For any questions regarding the admission process and/or the results of the contest, applicants may address a written complaint between 25th and 26th of July, 2010, at the Dean’s Office of the faculty.

 

CONFIRMATION OF ADMISSION

Those students that cannot confirm their enrollment by submitting the file containing the specified documents (including the receipt for paying the first installment, for those admitted on places with tuition fee), shall lose their student status.

The first installment paid is not returnable, irrespective of the reasons for which the candidate chooses to resign.

FINAL RESULTS

The final list of the admitted students will be available at the Faculty of Political, Administration and Communication Sciences and on our website on the 30st of July, 2010.
